You must know, I am truly convinced of what I am not missing. I've been hearing/reading these raves about jamon for soooooo long. I do admit to salivating at time when exposed to what I remember as an ole favorite. But my motivation is Jody related. She and Matt AND ZADIE will be here in Barca in May She has be a veggier much longer than I BUT we talk.... she HAs said if she ever broke down and ATE meat again it would probably be bacon that she would eat... well this is close. Ididn't want her to come back rave about something i cuda tried. Haven't gotten sick yet.. ate it 6 hours ago. Amen
HAD I known Lisa was going to make a big deal about this and blab to the whole world I would have eaten a sandwich out for goodness sake! You really don't have a clue what she will write about on a come day, go day basis. She sits and rattles these keys endlessly and then is always snapping pictures of anything that moves or amuses her. And she drags her old mother clear up a steep mountain side following a flimsy black homemade coffin with a cardboard fish sticking out of it , trailing along with 27 local folks with their sardines and ballons attached. There she is right up there in the 2nd row so she doesn't miss a thing. She knows I get spacey but there is no turning back... we could see France from that high up. Truly the HIGHlight of my trip! Right :)
Sounds like you're a little tense about the pork sandwich mom...the whole blogosphere knows about the JAmon...and now we know more about your sardine fest
